My name is Michelle Powell and I work with young people, their parents and the organisations that support them around their career planning and decision-making skills. I help them transition successfully to further education and employment. 

I am passionate about working with young people with additional support needs including, those at risk of becoming NEET (not in education, employment, or training), SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health needs), special educational needs, looked after children and young people not accessing other support services.

Careers advice and guidance for young people between the ages of 13 to 19

– Advice and guidance around making career decisions so they can have a clear sense of direction

– Support for parents and carers so you can help your child transition to the next step of education, employment, or training


Working in partnership with you to develop career programmes and interventions that help young people overcome barriers getting in the way of their progression

– Consultation to help you meet the individual careers guidance needs of your students and young people

– Bespoke staff training to develop the necessary skills and techniques required to support young people with developing their career management skills
